1.
Charlatan (free) 03:46
Charlatan, at times I dream you might have known the best. Sometimes I think it’s possible I’ve just lost my way. The way’s grown cold in the latter days. Inside, I reach and evolve. I relight the kindle went cold. Benign, the barrel of gold ideas I’ve had since seven.
2.
Asunder 04:01
When the world goes all asunder, you and I, we’ll go wander. Because when they come, they’ll come in numbers. When I say hide, you go under. Baby, stay down and keep quiet now. We’ll steal out under night fall.
3.
Siren 03:28
True, you’re less bitter now; but you’re just too old to want this. Long time past settled down, and all’s good in the brood and heart nest. Walk on with your armor on, and strip down when you’re sure you’re heartless. Allow in the quiet town, and escape in the wake of all this. She’s on the lure; a siren, I warn.
4.
Overtones 03:05
Rip seas tumble on the lonely shore; and a hot breeze is reckoning the Caribbean time of we. If it please, bleed the armory, amore. The ship leaves, and you with it, the charge of my heart. I believed I would know in the real and the overtones.
5.
Anchor 03:38
We’ve got a long way toward the knowing now; and we’ll be drawing haze till we can figure it out. The memory was buried deep in the ground. You wouldn’t tell me, so I came down from the cloud. I tried to break it free. I pried the anchored line, so deep beneath me.
6.
Ballerina 04:47
Out on the plains, I saw you grazing in the moonlight, waxing and waning. It was a wolf, and not to blame him, out of the gulch, nature a’brazen. Out of the fog, I saw your shadow, and the floodlights, casting it hollow. It was a crow, but she don’t hear it; and I signal low, “ballerina!”
7.
Disarray 03:35
In truth, you’re a handful, and you crowd the room; and still of you, I’m drew. In truth, you’re artful, and you carry on in tune; and I’m drew. It’s you that can’t afford to roam alone, along the blue. I’ll carry all the weight with you, and sail away from the port we knew.
8.
Silver Soul 03:45
Lay down on your bosom and rest; and not we care for the “nevertheless.” I’ll watch you parade, as you fill that dress. Come over me, as you fill my chest. Look around with your silver soul. It’s cruel, I know, what you’ve heard; that you were never really born. It’s a distance you would never know.
9.
Old Growth 05:01
This all belongs to they, who’ve settled long before the boughs would break the virgin shores. They’re sore from wars of late, and tacky tone. Though the colors fade, the room and board is gone. The trees of all the old growth are gone.
10.
The Holler 03:31
Just some Christians, you & me. A small destiny, but alive. The lake, view & me, knee high in the breeze. In your eyes, I can see clearly. Got a dream, you and me; one day breaking free from the line, of this county, country, and holler. Just take it all in stride, a stride that can flow through the holler. If possible, be kind; cause kindness can flow through the holler. We could all go blind; cause blindness can flow through the holler.
